Sick employees and/or patrons

Sick employees and patrons can be asked to leave the Library if their illness could be considered to cause an unsafe environment by a "reasonable person." Staff members asked to leave the Library by their supervisor for illness will be subject to sick leave policy guidelines. Whenever employees or patrons are asked to leave the Library under these conditions, branch managers should e-mail the director in order to document the details of the event.
